Update for weekend

This weekend looks to be very wet as a system moves through dropping rain by the buckets. Could be looking at well over an inch of rain, just think of all that snow that could be happening, 1 inch of rain = 10 h of snow(in most cases). We got some Freezing rain this morning and I woke up to what sounded like thumb tacks being thrown at my window. Now my windows are panes of ice. Any precip that moves through now will likely be rain as temps rise into the 40s, maybe even a 50 degree reading this weekend. Heat Wave! It will be very humid outside as this system brings bunches of moisture up from the south. It will also be quite windy. Any lingering rain will turn over to snow Sunday. No accumulations expected. From there on, there looks to be a warmer trend in the 30s, not in the teens like we have had. Looks to also be pretty quiet, next chance of a large storm looks to be January 3rd. Happy Holidays everone!
