Rain this weekend, snow the next?

A low pressure system will be moving south of us tonight, giving us the chance of some freezing rain. With my weather station reporting a low humidity right now, I have my doubts of it being anything major.

Attention turns to a powerful low pushing through late this weekend that could give us our first rumbles of thunder of the year! Temps should be warm enough to support all rain until late Sunday night when snow may mix in behind the cold front. This system will help us get beck to partially normal January temps. That being said, still don’t see any huge snow storm in the near future. Keep in mind we are still WELL in winter, and will have our opportunities.
