Weekend storm thoughts

Looks like we may see the light side of the upcoming storm. I think a inch or so is the most because a lot of the moisture is going to stay south of us. The low is sitting down in the south right now and will make a bee line to the east coast. As it does this a second low will develop and push up the Mtn chain. Not too long after that it will push off to the coast. Area of precip will be large as it combines with a system dropping out of Canada. Areas in the upper Midwest to the east coast can see snow. Areas hit from the super storm Dec 19 could see the same amounts (upwards 20 inches). Us being in relativly dry air, any precip that makes it’s way up will be light. All this could change if the low tracks a little further north, will keep an eye on it.

Temps will continue to fall next week as a high pressure system brings down more arctic air.
