Close but no snow(storm)…

Once again, Southeastern Michigan evades a snowmaker of awesome proportions! What skill we have! High five! (sensors detect a large amount of sarcasm in the opening sentence(s)).

The low will not have enough ‘umph’ to push moderate to heavy snows in our area. We will get the light part of about an inch Friday/Friday Night. We will not be missing the cold air though as the low and its counterclockwise flow draws down a High pressure system from Canada and sets up shop.

On the platter for next week we have a chance for another system to come through, but again may stay south of us. This looks to be weaker but still could pull a fast one on us.

Thats it for now, may have a special entry for “Why we haven’t had much snow this season” up this weekend…
