Light accumulating snows for the week end

As a systems rotates over the northeast, we will be caught in its wake and receive some bands of snow lake enhanced and non lake-enhanced. Some spots may be fairly heavy, but they will be short lived as they move through the area. Friday we could pick up another 1-3 inches from such an event. That was also said Wednesday where we picked up roughly 4 inches. All these showers will come to an end when a high pressure system brings clear weather for next week. Temps should remain around the 30s, but a slight warming trend may be in the works. With this blocking pressure system most of the weather will pass south of us with no huge snow maker in sight. Things do tend to pop up here and there, so will keep an eager eye out for our possible last storm. (?)
