Just when things were looking like spring…

…things don’t feel like spring. However, this cold snap should do just that this weekend (snap) as 60s roll back in with 70s reinforcing mid week next week.

Parts of Northern Michigan, the U.P. and Wisconsin all saw some snow today (some places seeing a half foot), just feel fortunate you were not there. Things have switched to spring mode and I am ready to see some thunderheads come rolling through, but some clear blue sky would be nice also.

We do however have a chance to see some freezing precipitation. Tonight things will get chilly enough to maybe spot a few snowflakes. Nothing huge, just a few flakes replacing a few drizzle spells. If it does occur, it may be overnight so you may not know it even happened. Areas south along the Michigan-Indiana border have put some Freeze warnings up for the chance of a harsh freeze Thursday/Friday. Would expect the Warnings/Watches to expand as lows creep toward the 20s in the next 2 days across the area. A good chance of Frost is possible Friday night and Saturday morning. Winds look to remain active until tomorrow evening as things reach equilibrium. As a warm front moves to restore us to spring, showers are also expected to move through, focusing on Sat Night/Sunday. Things look fair with temps in the upper 60s with clear to partly cloudy skies until Wed/Thursday where another chance of showers comes.

The Masters started today in Augusta Georgia. Things have been pretty wet down there but major storm activity managed to steer away(for now). A squall line approx 3 hours away may be in line to cause some problems later. At least they will get most holes in today.

Because the sidebar of my Flickr Cloud album may not update regularly, so heres a nifty link for ya: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33448640@N03/?donelayout=1
