Gradual warm up through the week

A few autumn-like days have been floating around and its only early September. While that may change as the week moves on, it will still be on the moderate side. Thinking last week may have been our last hit of 90 degree temps this year, but we could still get a warm upwelling from the south

Little bit of a stiff breeze out there from the passing Low on Tuesday. Was really interesting to look at because the low had already tilted to where the fronts were far north and we just got the dry winds coming down from Canada. Winds should progressively calm down over the next few days, but don’t be surprised when a gust or two come up. Actually had a dream last night of some kites flying in the air, wonder if that had anything to do with the wind.

In the tropic news, Tropical Storm Hermine cam ashore and is currently dumping loads of rain on OK and TX. Think Texas got the most of it yesterday, but it seems Oklahoma is getting hit hard now. Out in the Atlantic, TS Igor was identified this morning. Strengthening is forecast, but nothing too large is expected yet.

Thats about it for now, gradual warm up should get us to the mid 70s through the weekend and early next week. Spot of rain over the weekend also as a front pushes through off a low positioned in Northern Manitoba.

To make this more entertaining, found a awesome time-lapse of Hurricane Danielle from a few weeks ago. One photo was taken every minute.
