Fairly active week compared to some

The storm systems keep rolling in! Storm after storm will bring cold fronts across our area throughout the week. One will move through tonight bringing the possibility of a few rumbles of thunder and heavy rain. Warm front was really pronounced today as I was walking to classes, also caught a shower with one or two rumbles of thunder. Temperature was slowly warming though the day and would expect it to stop around the mid 60s before the cold front plows through. Felt like a little art project so I drew in the fronts and pressure system. Changes in the wind barbs hint at these boundaries very nicely. Now that I look at it more, think the warm front should be further north and not that flat.

Looking forward in the week, another low will develop over Colorado and track into the the Midwest for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, it looks like we will be on the warm side, and flurries will hold off until later in the day when temps can support snow. Probably just looking at a few showers here and there, not much. Will keep watching that situation as the date nears.
