Light snow action

Storm system will pass to our south Tuesday, brushing mainly lower Michigan on its way by. Southern counties will experience the most with up to 5 inches of snow. Amount will decrease up to the middle part of the state where a inch or two can be expected.

This system will then track east and phase with another disturbance to give the east coast another dumping of snow. Cool air will be left here as we are now in ‘the dead of winter’. The coldest temperatures of the season can be expected for the next month or so as temperature trends catch up with daylight hours and the lack there of.

This weekend and early next week looks to become active with storms passing through. Will let time go by and see what lingers after that!

Had a good cloud day over my winter break! Included waking up to a beautiful sunrise, and then finding some Altocumulus floating around that afternoon. Pictures of those can be found on the sidebar which links to my Flickr account! Have a look around and enjoy.
