Hot Stuff!

A chance of showers looms over the south part of Michigan today as a low pressure system tracks eastward. Could be a chance of thunder as well, but for the most part it will be just rain.

Temperatures will be on the upswing as patterns shift about and Michigan finds itself in the warm part. Things approach hot as highs mid-week get into the 80s. Overall trends suggest highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. With these nice temperatures, convection is common and the chance for thunderstorms exists most of the week. However the greatest chance comes with next weekend when a storm system moves through.

News on my weather station:

May have found a replacement Temp/Humidity sensor for my Davis VantagePro2. Having a hard time checking part numbers and date of manufacture. If these line up, I may be back to broadcasting live data from the homestead once again. Previously the sensor has gone wacko and broadcasting incorrect data is a big no-no. Pulled the plug, but would really like to get it up and running again.
