New Time-lapse!

Had an opportunity to set up the camera for a few time-lapse settings this past week. Only have worked on one featuring a storm that developed and tracked north. The other lapses are longer and will need some time to make. (i.e. don’t feel like working on them at this point) If you know me on Facebook, you may have already seen this clip, it will be added to the Videos section as well.

Was not ready to capture the whole development because:

1. the camera battery was a chargin’

and

2. It appeared my location was going to shoot between storms on either side.

Woops!

This video was shot with a Canon Rebel T2i faithfully named ‘Rufus’. It was set on Full-Auto to adjust with the changing sky light and an exposure was taken every 5 seconds. This was accomplished using the EOS Utility on my laptop wired to the camera via USB. The images were then stored on my external hard drive to be later manipulated through a freeware program called photolapse 3. Since playback was choppy, I then rendered it again in Windows Live Movie Maker.

Another one of those, "Now Might be a Good Time to go Inside" photos.

    Hey,
Thank you for this email. The video did not seem to play. When I clicked on the video title I was on my email page listing again??? Try again tomorrow.
    Good night, Dad
